The Pudding City Gym is headed by Beryl, also known as the "Jaw Breaker" due to him using Pokésweets that are hard to bite into. He isn't the best trainer and has lost 99 battles while only winning one, against the Rival. Once beaten, he gives the player the Jewel Badge.
Note: the gym cannot be exited until the leader is defeated. Plan accordingly!
